Rylie Caldwell

Artist

Originally from Houston, Rylie is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey began with a foundation in architecture. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a Minor in Art History from Texas A&M University, where she honed her skills in both the technical and aesthetic aspects of design.

After several successful years in the field of architecture, Rylie decided to follow her heart's true calling: painting. This transition allowed her to merge her architectural training with her passion for color and organic forms, resulting in a body of work that strikes a harmonious balance between structure and fluidity.

Rylie's art is a celebration of the vibrant interplay between hues and the graceful dance of organic elements. Informed by her background in architecture, she brings a unique emphasis on form and composition to her paintings. This fusion of disciplines imbues her work with a distinctive visual language that captivates the viewer's gaze and invites them to explore the intricate interplay of shapes and colors.

One of Rylie's most profound sources of inspiration is the elemental force of water. Its purity, boundless energy, and transformative nature are recurring motifs in her creations. Through her art, she seeks to convey the profound emotional impact that water, in all its dynamic forms, has on the human spirit.

Rylie currently channels her creative energy from her studio in the heart of Houston, Texas. From this vibrant and diverse cityscape, she draws further inspiration, infusing her work with the energy and spirit of her surroundings.
